Description

City of Zero Tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation – Nottingham Model to go Global

About the event

Through a panel discussion, Mojatu Foundation will seek to address the complexity of appropriate mental health service provision of FGM survivors and also legal protection of girls and women at risk with the aim to influencing policy. Furthermore we will explicate the ways in which research can help to fill gaps in knowledge and further a greater understanding of FGM. We will also celebrate the remarkable achievement of our campaign that got Nottingham City declared a "City of Zero Tolerance to FGM!"
